Waikiki gun range shooting was suicide, police say
Police said a 30-year-old woman, who was critically injured at a Waikiki indoor shooting range Friday evening, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The woman was shooting targets at a Waikiki gun club when she turned the firearm on herself, police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooting occurred at 6:48 p.m. Friday at SWAT Gun Club at 2266 Kuhio Avenue.
