Police arrested a 55 year-old Waianae man Tuesday night after he allegedly struck a neighbor with bamboo stick during an argument.
The suspect got into an argument at a Pokai Bay home just after 10 p.m., police said. The man brandished a bamboo stick and hit a 52 year-old woman several times, police said. She was taken to a nearby hospital in good condition.
The suspect faces a second degree assault charge.
