Police arrest man who allegedly drove at them near Kunia
A 25-year-old Makakilo man is behind bars after he allegedly drove at officers who were trying to stop him in West Oahu Friday morning.
A police said no one was injured.
Police said they were following the man, who was believed to be a suspect in a burglary in Makakilo. At one point, the suspect allegedly drove at police officers and clipped a police car.
The man was arrested at the H-1 freeway westbound Kunia off-ramp.
The man, of a Makakilo Drive address, was arrested around 8:54 a.m. at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder, first-degree criminal property damage, reckless endangering, resisting an order to stop, resisting arrest and violating the terms of his probation.
