Refusal to buy drugs leads to alleged assault and arrest
A 22-year-old Makiki man is in custody Wednesday on charges that he hit a man who refused to buy drugs from him in Waikiki in June.
Police said the suspect approached two men in Waikiki just after midnight on June 17. When one of the men refused to buy the drugs, the suspect allegedly hit him with a bottle. Charges of second-degree assault and first-degree assault are pending.
