Hawaii sweeps San Jose State in volleyball
Freshman Jane Croson put down 15 kills to lead No. 9 Hawaii to a 25-21, 25-8, 25-19 win over San Jose State in a Western Athletic Conference women’s volleyball match tonight in 86 minutes at the Stan Sheriff Center.
It was the 10th consecutive win for the Rainbow Wahine (15-1, 5-0 WAC), who have swept the Spartans the past 11 meetings and have defeated the Spartans 41 straight.
San Jose State (6-12, 1-4) got 10 kills from Savanah Leaf.
Kanani Danielson and Elizabeth Blake each had 14 kills for the Wahine.
Hawaii travels to New Mexico State (15-4, 5-0) for a match Wednesday that will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
