Kanoa Leahey, David Hallums and Tony Sellitto will be the broadcast crew for University of Hawaii men’s basketball on Oceanic Time Warner’s OC Sports, according to an announcement today.

Leahey, who has done ESPN’s Diamond Head Classic, will handle play by play while Hallums, a former Rainbow Warrior basketball player (1987-’88), and Sellitto, a former Hawaii Pacific University coach, will do commentary.

Leahey’s father, Jim, will team with Lori Santi on Rainbow Wahine games.

OC Sports’ first UH basketball broadcast will be a Nov. 11 doubleheader. OC Sports expects to broadcast a combined schedule of about 30 mens’ and women’s games.

Howard Dashefsky will anchor pre-game, halftime and post-game segments for men’s and women’s games and will be joined by Artie Wilson for men’s basketball. Wilson, who played for UH from 1971-”73, will also do some color commentary.

The rest of the lineup for Wahine games is still being assembled, Oceanic officials said.
