Waipahu man dies of injuries from motorcycle crash
A Waipahu man died last week of injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash two months earlier, police said.
The man, 73, was wearing a helmet when he crashed on Kaukonahua Road, just south of Wilikina Drive, on Aug. 7. He was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
He died of his injuries on Oct. 11.
He was the 46th traffic fatality on Oahu compared to 46 at the same time last year.
