Farrington 25, Mililani 20
Tyler Taumua scored on a 1-yard run with seven seconds left to play to rally No. 1 Farrington over Mililani in an Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Conference football playoff game Friday at Roosevelt field.
The Governors advance to play the winner of Saturday’s Aiea-Campbell game in a semifinal game set for next Friday at Aloha Stadium.
Farrington trailed 14-0 and 20-6 at halftime as Jarin Morikawa passed for three touchdowns. For the game, he completed 23-for-37 passes for 318 yards.
But the Governors came back with two scores — by quarterback Travis Tamapua and Taumua — in the third to close it to 20-18. Taumua finished with 23 carries for 164 yards.
Kahuku 20, Waianae 16
The No. 2 Red Raiders held off Waianae Friday at Kahuku to advance.
Kahuku will face Leilehua next Friday in the OIA Red semifinals at Aloha Stadium.
Leilehua 40, Moanalua 7
Kenan Sadanaga passed for five touchdowns as No. 3 Leilehua trounced Moanalua 40-7 Friday in an OIA playoff game at Leilehua.
The Mules advance to play against the Kahuku-Waianae winner next Friday at Aloha Stadium.
Sadanaga completed 36 of 46 passes for 386 yards and receiver Jeremiah Andrade had 15 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown.
Pearl City 26, McKinley 12
Kaimi Paredes passed for 207 and three touchdowns to lift the Chargers over the Tigers in an OIA White (Division II) playoff game played at Pearl City.
Waipahu 36, Kaimuki 22
The Marauders ousted the Bulldogs in an OIA White semifinal game played at Kaiser.
Kamehameha 21, Saint Louis 7
The No. 4 Warriors eliminated the No. 7 Crusaders from the title chase for the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.
Kamehameha is 6-1 in the ILH, a half game ahead of idle Punahou (5-1). Saint Louis is 3-3 and plays Punahou next week.
Pac-Five 22, Damien 17
Alakai Kealoha led Pac-Five (5-5, 2-5) with 105 rushing yards, including touchdowns of 7, 13 and 10 yards as the Wolfpack opened a 22-3 halftime lead and held on for the victory.
Bryson Dalmacio hauled in a 27-yard touchdown pass from Syles Choy with 4:16 left for Damien’s first touchdown. After blocking a Pac-Five punt, Choy snuck in from a yard out to make it 22-17 with 2:28 to play. With two time outs left, Damien opted to kick off deep rather on try an on-side, and Pac-Five picked up two first downs to run out the clock.
