The Hawaii women’s volleyball team, which has won 16 matches in a row, moved up a spot to No. 7 in today’s AVCA Coaches Top 25 poll.

It’s the highest ranking this season for the Rainbow Wahine (21-1, 9-0 Western Athletic Conference), who left today on their final regular-season WAC road trip.  Hawaii plays at San Jose State Tuesday, Fresno State Thursday and Nevada Saturday.

Nebraska (17-1) is the No. 1, followed by California (21-2), Illinois (20-1), USC (17-3, Stanford (16-3) and UCLA (18-3).
