A 37-year-old man was arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a Maili Beach Park restroom Tuesday night.
Police said the incident happened about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The victim, 37, was afraid to run away from her alleged attacker and walked with him along Farrington Highway when she saw an on-duty police officer driving toward them, police said.
She was able to flag down the officer and the suspect was subsequently arrested near Farrington Highway and Mailiili Road.
