Ewa Beach stabbing suspect released pending investigation
A 43-year-old Ewa Beach man who was arrested Saturday following a fight that left a teenager and two men with stab wounds has been released pending further investigation.
Police said the fight stemmed from an earlier traffic incident in Ewa Beach.
A 17-year-old boy and two men, ages 23 and 24, were stabbed with a knife shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday and were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Police arrested a 43-year-old man at a Papipi Road address on suspicion of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault and deadly-weapons offenses.
The events allegedly began when the suspect and one of the victims were involved in a traffic incident in front of the suspect’s home, police said.
Words were exchanged, and the victim drove away but later returned with several other males in various vehicles, police said.

When members of the suspect’s family arrived, the argument escalated and a fight broke out in the suspect’s driveway, police said.
