Hawaii baseball coach Mike Trapasso announced the signing of nine players to his 2013 recruiting class on Wednesday.

Six of them are pitchers, including Waiakea senior Quintin Torres-Costa, who led Hilo to the 2011 Senior League World Series championship.

Bellevue (Wash.) Community College right-handers Bryan Burgher, Matt Cooper and Scott Kuzminsky and left-hander Andrew Jones from Grayson County (Tex.) C.C. make up the four junior-college transfers in the class.

The other four high schoolers are all from California, including Santiago right-hander John Lopez, Nogales INF/OF Carlos Martinez, second baseman Andre Real of Orange Lutheran and catcher/pitcher Nik Stephenson of Sunset.

Stephenson is ranked in the Perfect Game USA Top 200.
