Honolulu fire investigators said they have not been able to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed one home and damaged three others in the University area Sunday morning, Honolulu fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.

The 9:14 a.m. fire on Seaview Avenue caused an estimated $250,000 in damage.

Destroyed was a two-bedroom home. No one was home. A three-bedroom home that shared a common roof was also damaged. Both homes house college students. Two other houses nearby sustained minor damage.
