An 8-inch main break on Lowrey Avenue in Manoa left 48 customers without water this morning.

Honolulu Board of Water Supply crews repaired a water main break at Lowrey and Kahawai avenues, restoring services to affected customers.

Lowrey Avenue was closed from East Manoa Road to Keoni Street.

About 48 customers were without water and a water wagon was set up in the area following the break in the 8-inch main.

Police reported the road closure at about 4:50 a.m. Lowrey Avenue between Keoni Street and East Manoa Road will remain closed until further notice, as crews continue to backfill the trench and repair the roadway.
