Police say traffic stop in Waikiki turns up stolen bicycle and drugs
Police arrested a bicyclist Friday after stopping him for a traffic infraction in Waikiki and discovering the bicycle he was riding was stolen.
Officers pulled over the man, 26, of no local address, at about 2:40 p.m. at Kalakaua and Paoakalani avenues, and when officers ran checks on his bicycle, they found it had been reported stolen, police said. Officers also found various drugs in his possession. Police arrested him for investigation of theft and two drug offenses.
