Rams draft UH LB Brown; 3 other Warriors agree to free-agent deals

Hawaii linebackers Aaron Brown and Art Laurel celebrated a sack in the first quarter on Saturday.

University of Hawaii linebacker Aaron Brown was drafted in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams today as the NFL draft concluded its selection process.

After the draft, three other Warriors agreed to free-agent deals.

Fellow linebacker Corey Paredes reached agreement with the Minnestoa Vikings. Defensive tackle Vaughn Meatoga agreed with the Redskins and defensive lineman Zach Masch agreed with the Seattle Seahawks.

Paredes will compete at middle linebacker and will be reunited with former Warrior Solomon Elimimian, a former Canadian Football League star who is now with the Vikings.

Meatoga will compete at nose tackle.

Brown will compete at weakside linebacker for the Rams, who also have ex-Warrior Greg Salas on the team.
