Arguments between 26-year-old Mililani man and his former girlfriend at the Waikele Premium Outlets mall led to the man’s arrest for allegedly stealing the woman’s car and other personal property.

Police said the couple got into an argument on March 25 at her workplace in the Waikele shopping outlet. The suspect fled taking personal property from the 31-year-old woman.

He returned Monday to Waikele and the two got into another argument, police said. This time the man allegedly left in the woman’s car. Police were called when the man returned just before 8 p.m. Officers arrested him on suspicion of second-degree robbery and vehicle theft.
