Children hand-decorate quilt for HUGS fundraiser

Bank of Hawaii employees helped children decorate a quilt with handprints Monday at HUGS House in Kaimuki. The king-size quilt will be auctioned at the HUGS fundraising gala dinner May 12. 

HUGS stands for Help, Understanding & Group Support. It helps seriously ill children adn their families.

About 12 children who receive support from HUGS and their siblings painted the quilt. 

Proceeds will fund HUGS hospital visitation activities for seriously ill children and their families aqt Tripler Army Medical Center.
