Bankoh employees raise $135,000 for charities
More than 1,800 Bank of Hawaii employees and their families participated in the bank’s sixth annual community walk in Waikiki on Saturday, raising a record $135,000 in donations.
The money will be distributed equally among the Honolulu Zoo Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii and Variety School of Hawaii, the bank said. It was the largest turnout of bank employees for a community service event, the bank said.
