Bankoh employees raise $135,000 for charities

More than 1,800 Bank of Hawaii employees and their families participated in the bank’s sixth annual community walk in Waikiki on Saturday, raising a rec­ord $135,000 in donations.

The money will be distributed equally among the Hono­lulu Zoo Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii and Variety School of Hawaii, the bank said. It was the largest turnout of bank employees for a community service event, the bank said.
