Hawaii News Now, which operates KGMB-TV and KHNL-TV, and KITV have won national Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association.
The stations’ work previously was honored with regional Edward R. Murrow Awards in April, as was an entry by KHON-TV.
In the national television small market award competition, the award for Video Newscast went to the Hawaii News Now at 5 p.m. KITV was honored for “Kokoro: Hearts Across the Pacific,” in the Video News Documentary category.
