California man allegedly used stolen credit card to pay for Waikiki room
Police believe a man they arrested this morning is responsible for using a credit card stolen in Florida to pay for a hotel room and other services.
After being tipped off by a federal agency, police arrived at the scene and saw the suspect, 26, walking away from the hotel with his luggage at about 8:09 a.m.
As they approached him, the suspect attempted to flee on foot. He was arrested after a short struggle at the corner of Saratoga and Kalia roads.
The man, of a Studio City, California address, is being held pending charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and resisting arrest.
