No tsunami threat as 5.1-magnitude quake rocks Aleutians

A magnitude 5.1 earthquake rocked Alaska tonight but does not pose a tsunami risk for Hawaii, according to the West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center.

The quake occurred at 8:54 p.m. Hawaii time in an area of the Aleutian Islands about 115 miles southwest of Attu Station.
