Kauai woman dies after bicycle accident
A 55-year-old Kauai woman died Monday at Queen’s Medical Center, where she was taken after falling off her bike.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Audrey M. Barretto.
Police said she fell while riding her bike on Kauai on Sunday. She was initially taken to a Kauai hospital for treatment of her injuries and later transferred to Queen’s, where she died on Monday.
An autopsy will be conducted today.
