Police arrested a man Tuesday afternoon in connection with the shooting death of a Kaneohe man whose body was found in a park off Kapaa Quarry Road Thursday.

The suspect was arrested on Mahinui Road at the same Kaneohe address where victim William Fallau lived, a man living at the property said.

The suspect, who is in his 20s, was being held at the Kaneohe police substation pending a transfer to the main police station on Alapai Street.

Fallau, 29, died from a gunshot wound to the back of the neck, according to the Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office.

His body was found by hikers at Kawainui State Park late Thursday afternoon.
