Case trails Hirono, Lingle in Senate campaign fundraising
Former U.S. Rep. Ed Case raised more than $42,000 during the first three weeks of July and had $166,600 in cash on hand for the primary election.
Case has raised more than $745,200 overall.
U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono, Case’s opponent in the Democratic primary, and former Gov. Linda Lingle, the leading Republican, disclosed their July fundraising figures earlier last week.
Hirono raised $146,500 in July and more than $3.5 million overall.
Lingle raised $171,950 in July an more than $4.4 million overall.
