Teenager arrested for vandalizing Kahaluu facility
A 17-year-old Honolulu boy allegedly broke into a shed and stole tools, which he used to vandalize a car and the Kahaluu facility where he lives, police said.
The incident occurred after 4 p.m. Sunday after an argument with a 31-year-old man who works at the facility, which police did not identify. The youth then used the tools to damage the facility and a car belonging to a 21-year-old woman. Police did not detail the extent of damages.
Facility workers subdued the teenager and police were called to the scene. Officers arrested him on suspicion of second-degree burglary and three counts of criminal property damage.
