Hawaii honored in digital government awards

Hawaii was among the awardees in the 2012 Best of the Web and Digital Government Achievement Awards, staged by the e.Republic Center for Digital Government.

 

Maui County was among the finalists in the County Portal category, in which Orange County, Fla. won first place.

Alabama won first place in the state portal.

The Hawaii Mobile App for annual professional and vocational license renewal won an honorable mention in the Government-to-citizen State government category.

The Center for Digital Government is a national research and advisory organization providing information technology policies and best-practices guidelines for state and local governments, based in California. The awards program is in its 17th year.
