Navy’s Blue Angels to fly over Waikiki Beach this afternoon

The U.S. Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, named the Blue Angels, arrived at the Marine Corps base in Kaneohe yesterday. The pilots will be part of the Kaneohe Bay Airshow this weekend.

The Blue Angels, the Navy’s aerial flight demonstration team, will fly over Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Beach and the Diamond Head area between 1 to 2 p.m. today before arriving at Marine Corps Air Station in Kaneohe Bay.

The six F/A-18 Hornet jets and other high-flying acts will take to the air over the Kaneohe base Sept. 29-30 for a free aerial show.
