UH’s Ohana Hoopfest set for Oct. 12
The University of Hawaii’s annual Ohana Hoopfest will be held at the Stan Sheriff Center on Oct. 12 to celebrate the start of the season for its men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The event, which will introduce coaches and players of both teams, is slated to start at about 9:15 p.m., after the UH volleyball match against Cal State Northridge. Admission is free to the Hoopfest.
This year’s Hoopfest will include a slam dunk contest, celebrity games and an autograph session.
