Hawaii island man charged with producing child porn
The FBI says the children who appeared in photographs that had been circulating on illegal child pornography Internet sites identified themselves in the photos and said Hawaii island man John Tucker was the man with whom they were having sex.
Tucker, 56, of Pahoa, appeared in U.S. District Court this afternoon on a charge of producing and one of possessing child pornography. According to the criminal complaint, images were found on his computer showing minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
He agreed to remain in custody without the opportunity for bail pending the resolution of the case.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry M. Kurren scheduled a preliminary hearing for Oct. 25.
