With no plans to open a bricks-and-mortar store in Hawaii, popular Japan-based clothing retailer UNIQLO has announced the launch of its online store at www.uniqlo.com, with shipping possible to Hawaii and Alaska and the rest of the 50 states.

While the company looks for additional physical locations for mainland expansion, “this will now give millions more people the opportunity to experience our products and brand values,” said Shin Odake, UNIQLO USA chief executive officer.

UNIQLO is a brand of Fast Retailing Co., a retail holding company that designs, manufactures and sells clothing under six main brands including Princesse tam.tam, which does have a store in Waikiki.
