A 29-year-old Waikiki man is accusing his roommate of stealing his car.

Police said the two men got into an argument after a 57-year-old man refused to allow the 29-year-old suspect to use his car on Tuesday. The  suspect left the Waikiki residence and the victim later discovered that his car was missing. The victim reported the theft to police.

On Wednesday, the suspect returned and confronted the owner with a stun gun and refused to let him go until the victim signed over ownership.

The suspect fled and now faces charges of auto theft and kidnapping.
