The registration deadline for the Kauai County Winter Fun Program has been extended at the Kalaheo and Kapaa neighborhood centers, officials said Friday.

People can register at the neighborhood centers on Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The program runs from Dec. 17 to Dec. 28 for youngsters, ages 5 through 11, and offers arts and crafts, games and outdoor activities. The Christmas holiday will be observed on Tuesday, Dec. 25.
