Repairs to utility pole continue; Kalaeloa Boulevard to remain closed until 10 a.m.
All but 3 customers have had their power restored as HECO crews continue repairs to a utility pole that was knocked over by a car Thursday night in the Campbell Industrial Park area.
Police closed Kalaeloa Boulevard in the area of Malakole Street after the 8:14 p.m. accident and expect to reopen the street to traffic around 10 a.m.
Initially, 150 customers lost power when the utility pole was downed. There were no injuries, according to city Emergency Medical Services.
The crash also affected Hawaiian Telcom, police said.
