KALALAU, Hawaii >> Authorities say Haena State Park has reopened and vehicles are being allowed entrance to Kee Beach as police investigate the case of a Japanese visitor who was thrown off a cliff.

Police said early Friday the search for suspect Justin Wynn Klein continued. Police want to question him in connection with a 31-year-old tourist being thrown from a cliff near Kalalau Beach on Sunday afternoon. The victim fell roughly 15 feet and was seriously injured.

The Garden Island reports that her condition has been upgraded from critical to stable.

Klein is described as white, 6-foot-1 inches tall, with a Mohawk haircut and a tribal band tattoo on his left arm. Police say his last known address is in Kilauea.

The Na Pali Coast State Wilderness Park and Kalalau trail remained closed Friday afternoon.
