4 arrested following Hawaii Kai gunpoint robbery

Three men and a woman were arrested in East Honolulu early Wednesday morning following a gunpoint robbery earlier at Hawaii Kai Skate Park.

Police said two victims, sex and age not given, reported that they were robbed at the Hawaii Kai Drive park about 3:51 a.m.

A vehicle matching the description given by the victims was found by patrol officers a short time later just outside the Niu Valley Shopping Center.

After being identified by the victims, the suspects were arrested on suspicion of two counts each of first-degree robbery. They are a Palolo man, 24; a Kaneohe man, 37; a Kalihi woman, 39; and a Kalihi man, 29.
