Giants games to be broadcast on MeTVHawaii

    San Francisco Giants' Sergio Romo and catcher Buster Posey celebrate after winning Game 4 of baseball's World Series.

Beginning with an exhibition game Sunday, 17 games of the World Champion San Francisco Giants will air on KITV’s second channel, MeTVHawaii, the station announced today.

It is the third year that a selection of Giants games will air locally (Oceanic Cable channel 126 and over-the-air 4.2).

Sunday’s game against Colorado be shown at noon.

In addition, KITV said it will show 10 Giants specials throughout the season, the first one April 6 at 1:30 p.m. featuring San Francisco’s run up to the 2012 World Series.

“We’re happy to have the opportunity to bring the World Series champions back for another season,” said Andrew Jackson, KITV President and General Manager.
