A 17-year-old boy, who allegedly punched a man and stole his car following a traffic accident last month, was spotted and arrested in a Wahiawa home Monday.

Police said following an auto accident March 14, the juvenile suspect allegedly punched a 20-year-old man several times, took the victim’s cell phone and vehicle and fled the scene. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.

Police caught the suspect Monday and arrested him on suspicion of robbery, burglary and several outstanding warrants.
