Emergency Medical Services reported that a 40-year-old man nearly drowned at a Makaha beach Thursday afternoon.
EMS transported the man by ambulance in serious condition to a hospital.
The incident occurred at 4:17 p.m. at a beach near Farrington Highway and Orange Street.
