A 21-year-old Liliha man who was arrested in connection with a stabbing at Mayor Wright public housing that left a man in serious condition was released Wednesday, pending investigation.
The man was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of attempted murder after a witness reported seeing him fighting with an 18-year-old man at 1:29 a.m. The witness said the suspect stabbed the victim and fled. However, the suspect was identified by the witness and arrested near his Liliha Street home at 2:15 a.m.
The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition with multiple stab wounds.
