Paul Brown Hawaii product a finalist in national competition

The AKI flat iron for smoothing and styling of hair designed by Paul Brown Hawaii Marketing Inc. is a finalist in a national design awards competition.

The styling iron, bearing a tribal-tattoo design, is among five finalists in the Tools and At-Home Devices category in the Annual International Package Design Awards staged by HBA Global, a leading product development company for the beauty and personal care industry.

Well-known international brands also are among the finalists in numerous categories from cosmetics and fragrances to hair care products and packaging design, to name a few.

Winners will be announced Wednesday, June 19 in New York City.

Paul Brown salons are located in Ward Centers, Waikele, and Kailua, while his Spa Olakino Salon is at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa. The Paul Brown Institute at Remington College offers a complete cosmetology curriculum.
