Watch out for Nanakuli water line work next week

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply will close two lanes at a time on Farrington Highway by Ulehawa Beach Park in Nanakuli from Tuesday to Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day to install a water service line for the park

The excavation and installation work will close two lanes of Farrington Highway between Mohihi Place and Princess Kahanu Avenue, beginning with the makai lanes, and will move mauka across the street as work progresses. Two lanes will remain open for traffic and bus routes will not be affected.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area, to allow for extra travel time, and to use alternate routes if possible. Traffic signs will be in place to notify motorists of the lane closures and special duty officers have been requested to help with traffic.
