Lifeguards revived a 64-year-old Japanese tourist who was found unresponsive and face down in about 3 to 4 feet of water at Hanauma Bay Thursday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the Emergency Services Department said lifeguards brought the woman out of the water at about 12:30 p.m. They peformed CPR and were able to get back a pulse, said Emergency Services Department spokeswoman Shayne Enright. Paramedics continued to treat the woman and took her to the hospital in critical condition.
