Police arrest man in alleged assault on girlfriend in Waianae
Police arrested a 26-year-old Waianae man for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Monday morning.
According to police, the suspect and his 22-year-old girlfriend were arguing when the suspect shoved the woman to the ground and choked her from behind.
Police arrested the suspect on suspicion of felony abuse of a household member.
