Power outage closes Kaneohe district court early
A power outage forced the Kaneohe courthouse to close early Tuesday.
The state Judiciary says officials closed the Kaneohe district court because of Tuesday afternoon’s power outage.
Court officials worked with Hawaiian Electric Company to resolve the problem and anticipate the courthouse will be open to the public this morning.
As a result of the outage, the Hawaii Supreme Court has issued an order extending by one day the filing date of any Kaneohe district court matter that was due Tuesday.
