Glendale, Ariz. >> The Cardinals released wide receiver Robby Toma on Wednesday.
The Punahou School graduate was an undrafted free agent. He played four years at Notre Dame.
After his release Toma tweeted, “Just wanna thank the AZ cardinals for the opportunity. Unfortunately it didn’t work out. But I know God has plan.”
Toma caught one pass for 28 yards in the Cardinals’ preseason opener against the Packers.
