Kamehameha Highway reopens in Whitmore as brush fire smolders

Kamehameha Highway has reopened in both directions in Whitmore Village after being closed for a brush fire.

Police said about 4 p.m. that the highway was closed between Whitmore Avenue and the Pineapple Variety Garden at Dole Plantation.

It reopened at 5:18 p.m.
