‘Five-0’ stars dress up for the Red Carpet
WAIKIKI >> The stars of “Hawaii Five-0” lit up the red carpet at the Sunset on the Beach Season 4 premiere tonight, many of them coming straight from the set on the North Shore.
The lineup included Taylor Wily, Al Harrington, Michelle Borth, Daniel Dae Kim and Alex O’Loughlin — all graciously signing autographs and posing with fans.
Shrieking fans attested to the presence of the Jonas Brothers, who will perform after the screening of the season premiere.
Although today’s action on the set include horseback riding, the stars appeared fresh and impeccably dressed for the red carpet.
O’Loughlin looked sharp in a dark suit, white dress shirt, black tie and maile lei. Borth braved the beach setting in rhinestone-studded black stilettos, along with a slinky, mullet-hemmed black dress, wearing her long dark hair in a loose ’do.
Daniel Dae Kim delighted fans when he hopped the barricade with ease in a single, fluid move after signing autographs.

Kim is especially popular in Hawaii, where he starred on ABC’s “Lost” for six seasons and has become a low-key fixture in the community.
Fellow “Lost” alum Jorge Garcia (Hurley) was filming a “Five-0” guest spot today, and Henry Ian Cusick, who played Desmond on “Lost,” also is guesting on the show.
“There’s a comfort level and shorthand (working with Garcia and Cusick),” Kim told Hawaii News Now’s Keahi Tucker. “It’s like putting on an old shoe or old sock when you’re working with them and it really feels good.”
