All lanes open on Nimitz Highway as crews patch pipe

This image taken from a traffic camera on Nimitz Highway and Alakea Street shows Board of Water Supply crews repairing a 6-inch pipe this morning.
Board of Water Supply crews reopened all lanes Nimitz Highway between Alakea and Bishop streets in the Ewa direction.
The crews have been working since last night, when a break was reported in a 6-inch line. The pipe feeds a fire hydrant and there are no water outages downtown.
Crews secured an iron plate over the road until tonight, when the final repairs to the pipe completed.
