Woman, 22, seriously injured in car accident in Makiki

A 22-year-old woman was seriously injured Monday afternoon in an apparent two-vehicle collision at South King Street and Kalakaua Avenue, according to a Emergency Medical Services report.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene of the accident, which occurred at about 3:30 p.m., and transported the injured woman to a trauma hospital. According to EMS, the woman had been riding in a van. No additional information is available at this time.
